Fast service, but it didn't feel like a chip shop. Impersonal and unpleasant. The fries weren't that tasty. I do not recommend the boulet special under any circumstances

I have no comment on the fries and snacks, but for me the friendly service that others are talking about is far from lacking. When you enter there is a very wide counter where it was not really clear which side to sit on. Me and another lady behind me sat in the middle. A couple came in after us who knew the business better and they sat on the left and were immediately served while we were already waiting there. However, they had seen us come in. Very rude!

You will find the perfect real Flemish thick-cut fries here. Here you don't get industrial food from cans like at many other chip shops in the area. Really fresh stew, super tasty and homemade goulash, homemade vol-au-vent and delicious brochettes. Undoubtedly the best chip shop in Haaltert and the surrounding area!
