Kfc Hachioji Store

全国的に知名度のあるフライドチキンのチェーン店です。 八王子駅からは歩いて7〜8分ぐらいの所にあります。 平日の夜21:30頃に利用したので他のお客さんがいなくてスムーズに注文、テイクアウトができました。 骨なしケンタッキーとオリジナルチキンを1つずつ注文し、自宅にていただきました。 骨なしケンタッキーはジューシー感はなく、衣にしっかりとスパイス系の味付けがされているようなものでした。 骨がないので食べやすいです。 オリジナルチキンは骨など食べれないであろう箇所がそこそこ多くて食べにくかったですが、骨なしケンタッキーと比べて肉の部分が柔らかくてそこそこ美味しかったです。 待たなければ利用したいと思いますが、混んでいる時、並んで待つ程食べたいかと言われたら微妙な所です。

Today, I decided to try Kentucky Fried Chicken again after a long time and visited the Hachioji store for the first time. As a frequent customer of Kentucky, with over 30,000 miles under my belt, I know that the taste can vary, but what stood out to me about this store was their precise temperature control. I decided to go with the Japanese-style chicken katsu sandwich box, and I was pleasantly surprised by how hot and delicious the sandwich was, thanks to its crisp frying. Typically, I find that sandwiches tend to lose their warmth due to the ingredients, but the Japanese-style chicken katsu sandwich here was exceptional. The mini apple pie was a delightful touch, with its crispy crust and warmth from being freshly baked. I also tried their ribs (abara part) alongside the original chicken, and both were well-cooked and flavorful. However, I felt that the original spices lacked a bit of sweetness that I usually associate with Kentucky. Overall, the quality of the chicken is what stands out at this store, and with a bit of improvement in the preparation, it could easily earn a 5-star rating. I give it a solid 3.

I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant twice. Since I am not familiar with it, it takes me a while to order, but the staff was kind and patient. There are many appealing lunch options in Kentucky, so I was grateful for the change here. The dining area on the second floor is spacious, allowing for a leisurely meal. It is so quiet that chatting too much is difficult, but it may be nice for a calm atmosphere when dining alone.

This restaurant has a very relaxing atmosphere, although it is empty and somewhat somber due to the pandemic. Despite that, the overall experience was good.
