Home Plate Tavern - Hackensack

I went to Home Plate Tavern for lunch yesterday and I was blown away by their $5.99 lunch special! The taco bowl salad was delicious and all 8 dressing options are homemade! I enjoyed my experience so much I went back to grab a drink after work with my friends and the night time bartender Chloe was incredible!! Equally beautiful inside and out!! I found my new go to bar!

Formerly the Huddle Bar and Grill. Same management and delicious sandwiches and entrees at reasonable prices. Good service. Co owner, Laura is extremely hospitable. The place is sparkling clean. Kind of a cozy atmosphere but with a sports grill decor. Last time I ate here I had the chopped steak and it was all good. Give it a try.

Went to the Plate Thursday for the first time in a while and I've never seen a place have such high quality at a reasonable price. $6 for a burger and a beer on Thursdays has to be the best deal in Hackensack. I was expecting a slider and I got a 8oz burger! Oh and the bartender Chloe was incredible, she's as good as the come behind the bar. I will definitely be back soon (probably next Thursday for another burger.

I've been here many times and it is definitely a go to for me after a long day. Great food and drinks. I don't understand the smear fest going on below. I love Chloe, she's my regular gal. I heard the other bartender quit and is having people write awful reviews, so I'm here to say I really enjoy this place and the employees/owners. I'm not here to shame anyone. Just speaking the facts on the establishment.

Love home plate Tavern the food is always fresh they give big portions for great prices. I only go there when Chloe is working because the daytime bartenders is very unfriendly and rude! (Maureen) .She over pours for her regulars and under pours if you don't over tip her ! For that reason I only come in the evening when I know Chloe's working she's fair and nice to me.
