You’ll want to order everything! My personal favorites include: - **Pork or Chicken Barbecue**: Simply the best! It's so flavorful and smoky, with a generous amount of juicy meat on each stick. - **Lechon Belly with Paella**: This must be ordered in advance, as it's not available over the counter. The lechon is perfectly crispy with a tender interior, and the paella is packed with seafood – absolutely delightful! - **Embutido**: This dish is great, but be sure to fry it before eating for the best flavor. - **Bilo-Bilo**: This is my favorite Filipino snack! It's creamy and packed with glutinous rice, plus the sweet potatoes are deliciously sweet. - **Baked Bangus**: This boneless bangus is topped with mayo and baked to perfection. We usually order three because it's just that good! - **Pansit**: The noodles are cooked perfectly, and the vegetables are fresh. - **Kutsinta**: This is another favorite of mine! It’s a rice cake topped with coconut strings – simply delicious. - **Buko Pandan**: This dessert gives you an authentic taste of buko pandan. I didn't take a picture, but it's definitely a must-try! Pricing is rated at 6/10 – very inexpensive! The cost is well worth all the deliciousness. I’ve visited multiple times even though I live in NYC, and I would recommend it for anyone, especially for parties. We come here just to enjoy their incredible food!
This is a great spot for Filipino cuisine. They offer a combo plate for $10 that includes rice or pancit along with two entrees. They regularly share their menu on Facebook every day. Additionally, they carry some Filipino grocery essentials that are hard to find elsewhere, such as halo halo ingredients, Magnolia ice cream, patis, banana ketchup, Nestle cream, and palabok noodles—though they don't have fresh produce.
I had a delightful experience with the Filipino food in Bergen County. The place was clean, but unfortunately, I couldn't dine in due to Covid restrictions at the time. There was an impressive variety of dishes to choose from, and the prices were quite reasonable.
I've dined at this restaurant multiple times because they offer fantastic comfort food. However, I've noticed that the restaurant and the food tend to leave a lingering smell on you, particularly in the winter. Even your hair absorbs the scent, which is one of the reasons I don't visit as frequently now.
The service was outstanding, and the food was tasty, with budget-friendly combo choices. I especially loved the pork and chicken adobo.
