We came here to celebrate our son’s birthday. Being this was our first time coming here we didn’t know what to expect, but we were quickly and pleasantly surprised. The hibachi experience was incredible! The food was outstanding and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. All of their food was very well seasoned and very fresh. Both my husband and son have the filet mignon. My husband is very picky about how his steak is cooked and he absolutely loved it as did my son. I had shrimp and scallops that were cooked to perfection. We went upstairs and ordered sushi to go for our daughter and son-in-law, and they said it was the best sushi they ever had. Coming from my son-in-law, who is from New York City that says a lot. When we arrived, my husband mentioned to the waitress that it was my son‘s birthday. They went out of their way to make my son’s birthday celebration so special. The owner came out with a small gong and put on a brief birthday show! That was by far the most fun and was the highlight of our day! We definitely found our new go to favorite restaurant. Next time we will BYOB. There is not enough good things to say about this restaurant. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

Loved loved loved this place. We chose this restaurant because it was on our way back home. Loved the place, the food, and the ppl. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday, and they made it super special for her. Will be back for sure

It gets a three because the food is good, the place is nice but the staff there are downright nasty. It’s 4 on a Sunday and I’m one of two people that was in the restaurant and they basically made it out to be like we were the biggest inconvenience. We stayed ordered chicken hibachi, got our food, then basically ushered out the door and when they looked at the tip, they literally said it wasn’t enough. Rude staff doesn’t equal good tip.

Had the miso ramen with gyoza on top. Was well priced and good portion. Enjoyed it! Service was friendly and attentive.

Always have such a good time coming here! Whether it's upstairs for regular sushi or noodles, or downstairs for hibachi it is always excellent food and excellent service. We usually come here for special occasions and our last visit was to celebrate getting married. We treated ourselves to hibachi and it was delicious and perfect, just like always! If you're looking for a real NYC Japanese cuisine experience, absolutely dine here. Reasonable prices for an experience you would expect closer to or in the city.
