Eating was okay, nothing special. years ago this place was one of the first places where I tried vietnamese, but obviously after the taste that they have become compromising and like most other Vietnamese restaurants. this is my favorite type of food, but it is becoming more and more difficult to find a place that aligns me back to these amazing flavor combinations and unique. maybe it's time to get the real thing instead of London versions lol

An honest thought. the good news is the price is really cheap. but the con is that it doesn't taste so good. unless they improve cooking, I can't see it as a favor.
We like ........ Last weekend saw our little supper club strong and heading over to Hackney for a Saturday night feast at Loong Kee. After a couple of beers at The Dove, which was a very pleasant pub and comes highly recommended, we wandered a couple of minutes down the road to the brightly lit restaurant. Fortunately we had taken the precaution of booking because at Loong Kee was absolutely heaving It was all hustle and bustle, and fairly chaotic, but we were soon found a table in the basement area (like a lot of basement rooms this one had a bit of a musty whiff about it which the owners had tried to ward off with incense not so bad that it would put you off your dinner...read more
