Mussel Men - Hackney

After enjoying the Dalston Beer Day at 40 Ft Brewery, we indulged in some high percentage craft beers and found ourselves craving seafood. Upon arriving in London last year, we had heard about Mustel Men and finally decided to visit their permanent location. It was great to see what they had to offer on their menu.

We had a meal on Saturday afternoon at this restaurant. We sat in the sunny garden and enjoyed delicious dishes such as oysters, soft shell crab, scallops, pommes, and a lovely IPA that our waiter recommended. We also returned for dinner another time and enjoyed the mussels and cocktails. The atmosphere was cozy, the service friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

Finding the restaurant was a bit challenging, but a friendly waiter on Kingsland Road helped us locate it. We enjoyed a leisurely Sunday dinner outside in the sun and all decided to order the seafood fry. It was delicious and packed with a variety of tasty fish snacks that left us satisfied. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help.

Inconspicuously located on kingsland road I walked by it accidentally twice, however once I had found the place it was wonderfully decorated and I was greeted with large smiles and genuine delight by the ever so helpful staff. The food was delicious and the portion of moules marinieres was more than plentiful. There is a lovely outdoors space which should prove delightful over the coming months, definitely worth a visit.
