Feedback gevenI certainly enjoyed some alone time in one of the Legit Pan Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood. We were right here in front of the Independence Day, so the restaurant was very in vacation mode. The interior was representative of every Chinese restaurant with magnificent floral decor and intense lighting. I was greeted by a middle Chinese lady. TripAdvisor gave bad customer reviews, but I thought the waiter was okay. Maybe because I am asian and have spoken some Chinese, the lady's serving style was very cultural to me. I even brought my years of Chinese self-study into practice with her. I was quite indecision to search the menu; it offered a wide range of items, from Polynesian rum drinks and fruit juice to noodles and sushi rolls! Finally, I ordered crabs rangoons $4.95), roasted rice with eggs $7.25), and honey tow milk tea $4.50). The food came out pretty fast. It took only 5 minutes to operate. Crab rangoons had a portion of size 6. These golden and crispy looking spoons, which introduced a rich mixture of cream cheese, were Bonne Bouche when they were immersed in sweet and acidic sauce. Fried Reis is my children's dish, and I was left off from some versions. This was not the case with Panda East – the hard ambrosial kitchen that reminds of home. My honeytau bubble milk tea was with large beads felt Bland and had an average taste. Cold water was provided at no cost and often refilled. If Panda Express was to be revised, maybe that would be the case. The bill was $17.87 with taxes that was affordable for one-person dinner. I decided to leave 18 percent for tipping, making it $21.08. I would say that this is a hidden gem of downtown Amherst, because people usually dinate in or order to take in Oriental Flavor or Formosa for authentic Chinese cuisine. In addition, Panda East is located in a complex of local restaurants away from the street. Top Tips: Dishes have been served in large portions, so do not trust your visual hunger and be ready to ask for some to-go containers. You should also try some cubed chickens with Kung-Pao after the lady. Extreme student-friendly costs and great for group meetings. The Fortune cookie is provided during payment.
I was brought to lunch here a few days ago with two good friends. A very nice and large spacious restaurant and honestly very excellent and fast service with quite good food. There was no waiting time. I've never had a scorpion dish, and I might want to know more about what this is. My two friends, with whom I was, were somewhat confused when we got our check back, we didn't know if bliss and tip were already added on or not for the sum. Please let me know so that I can know that there is no confusion. Then we had a nice walk home.
My family has been eating in this restaurant for years and it is one of our favorites. During the COVID they were very careful with customers and their food and we regularly got take-out because of it. Your portions are generous; we usually get two meals from each dish. We get the vouchers on the 20% off gift card day and then we use them all year round, so it is very affordable. The staff was always very nice and professional and the food is delicious.
Came tonight with spouse and ordered the sweet potato cake, twice boiled pork with rag, and an eggplant dish. They were from the Aubergine, but they gave us green beans. Everything was so delicious and it was a lot of food! The person waiting for us was also very nice. We have to come back to try the eggplant! There were so many elements on the menu we want to try.
