If a Mexican restaurant isn't serving up hand stretched tortillas then it really isn't worth my time. Fact is you can not get good Mexican on the east coast period. El Ranchero, though better than El Paso, is mediocre at best. If you really want some authentic Mexican cuisine you need to pack your bags and head west cause you won't find it here.
I have yet to go wrong with any dish here. The staff is polite, prices are very reasonable and I have a great experience every time I go (and I go at least twice a month).
This is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant. I am here as often as possible with my family and friends. I love their chicken fajitas and their rice and their cheese dip is out of this world : They're extremely cheap and if you're looking for good Mexican food, go to El Ranchero!!!
This is our favorite place to eat after church on Sunday and it must be for many others as it is always busy. They use good ingredients and I've been disappointed only once with the flavor. Service is friendly.
The food is very good, the staff very friendly, and the service very fast.
