Otto's Bakery - HAHNDORF

Never disappoints, actually should have had lunch there today instead of at Haus!! Otto's is ever reliable in its service and food quality...love it!

We ate here before a day of hiking. The food was freshly baked and delicious! I had the doughnut. They're huge, wonderful and it really only takes one to fill you up. My wife had a gluten-free muffin that she also enjoyed. The gluten-free selection isn't huge, but there are a number of options and everything was great! I know there have been some other comments regarding prices, but for the items we selected, we thought they were very reasonable.

I went in for some bread rolls and the ones I found were quite expensive. It seemed to be a poplar place as it was quite busy that day. The staff were freindly.

Going to Hahndorf means going to Otto's Bakery. We literally parked our car and were in Otto's. The selection of freshly baked items is headache causing stuff - they have an amazing selection. I decided on an apricot scroll with yummy icing to go along with a cappuccino. The coffee was really really nice. We sat outside and enjoyed the streets of Hahndorf. There is inside seating and the staff are friendly. Before leaving Hahndorf for the day we returned to buy their award winning Vanilla slices - exquisite and worth tasting. Great bakery.

Enjoyed 2 breakfasts here. Strayed from the morning muesli and thoroughly enjoyed coffees rolls and vanilla slices washed down by coffee. We were bad but so glad!!
