Lago Azul was exactly what we needed after a week holiday in the beautiful Sawtooth mountains. The restaurant was clean and easy to find. Our waiter was friendly, helpful and fast. The food was incredible! I had the 1/2 Tinga Taco plate with rice and beans. I make Tinga Tacos at home, but my tastes not as good as Lago Azuls. Your chicken is magical. The rest of my party held things quite traditionally with Chimichangas and Quesadillas, but it was all exceptionally delicious. Stop and enjoy this local, palette pleasant joint!
Amazing staff amazing food tried both Mexican food joints in the valley and although I gave both five stars, this one for the lingua is amazingly marinated after they cook it is just you do not know that you eat tongue!!
This restaurant is a hidden gem and a family-owned establishment. The carne asada paired with chorizo was delicious and full of flavor. The pupusa was also outstanding. While the restaurant may lack ambiance, the food is top-notch.
Excellent service and everything we ordered was delicious! Food came out really fast, beers were huge and everyone was really friendly :
