Her eggs were done perfectly and she said the English muffin was toasted but still soft. Loved it. My omellette was simply huge! And very tasty. Our lovely waitress, Vimaris, suggested I have provolone cheese instead of the cheddar and it was really quite good. My home fries were done perfectly and at our servers suggestion I added grilled onions to them. Yummy. I would certainly suggest any couple coming in for breakfast split an omelette because they are huge! And a note, prices are a bit less than every other place we have visited around the area. So.....all in all, a great stop for breakfast.
Went in to grab a bite and Monday and the server was so amazing. great service and even better food.
A 1950's theme restaurant in Haines city Florida. Great decor and wonderful music from 50's and 60's. The restaurant was three quarters full but understaffed. Didn't have to wait long for server. She had to come back because they have many items on the menu including breakfast and lunch. I had the philly cheese steak with pretty good fries with some crunch. Good size sandwich. Wifey had turkey and mashed potatoes and wasn't impressed. Said the stuffing was like a hockey puck stuck to the plate. The green beans with bacon bits looked sad. She wouldn't eat them. I had a little. Yeah. Place was clean with someone picking up dishes to give you table space. Not rushed to leave. Easy parking outside. Left a good tip on a small bill.
Great food, great service and still among the most affordable restaurants you can visit.
I've heard good things, but felt underwhelmed. The food was okay, but it could've just been an off day with the cooks or something. It just didn't seem some wasn't seasoned much, which is easy to miss sometimes. Our waitress was nice, but seemed flustered like she was super busy or had something bothering her. But she was nice and did a good job. The main issue was the hostess. She didn't know what she was doing and was rude about it. We put in our name and waited 30 minutes to notice that many other families had come and gone in and didn't come back out. My husband went in to check what was going on (he actually went in twice to inquire about us being sat), but the hostess was rude and said she text us, but didn't check to see if we were around? We were right outside waiting, letting our toddler get energy out. She could've apologized and acknowledged she messed up, but blamed us and was rude about it. I also saw a coworker that had checked in just before us and she told us she checked in, but the hostess then rudely informed her she didn't have her checked in. She just made a few mistakes and instead of owning up to it, she was rude and blamed the customer for it. She also gave us the incorrect amount of silverware and straws, while also not bringing a high chair or a kids menu for our toddler. We visited earlier today and hope she wasn't the regular hostess. Figure we will try again and it won't be an off day and there will be a different hostess.
