Zane's Simply Shrimp - Haleiwa

Zanes serves the best shrimp in all of Hawaii. It's often overlooked since many people choose Giovanni's next door. Trust me, Zanes is definitely superior to Giovanni's. My favorite dish was the Sweet Thai Shrimp, but everything we ordered was amazing.

I had my first experience at Zanes and I really enjoyed it! I wanted to try the pineapple and coconut shrimp, and it did not disappoint. The shrimp was perfectly boiled, creating a great texture, and the kind cashier even provided some Thai chili sauce for dipping, which was exactly what I needed. I'm a big fan of dipping sauces! The dish came with a generous portion of rice and a small salad, making it quite filling. I would definitely recommend checking out any food truck in the area, especially this one. The service was friendly and prompt, the shrimp was freshly cooked, and it wasn't overly greasy. Plus, they accept tickets for payment!

Zane is located right next to Giovanni’s. The coconut shrimp at Zane was fantastic! It was crispy, sweet, and served hot with plenty of grilled pineapple, as you can see in the photo. I found the garlic shrimp to be even better than Giovanni’s, and there was no need to peel it. Although Zane had no line, don't be fooled; the food came out quickly and was served piping hot. It was also a bit more affordable, and in my opinion, it was superior.

We had the Thai sweet chili shrimp and it was fantastic.not wicy but big on taste. Large portion size also. Would recommend everyone.

I ordered the coconut pineapple shrimp, and although it was slightly sweet for my personal taste, it still had really great flavor. I arrived when there was no line, and my food was ready very quickly. The woman who took my order was really nice.
