The Fisherman's Taverna - Half Moon Bay

This restaurant is a great casual spot for families. The crab louie salad was delicious with plenty of fresh ingredients. However, making a reservation does not guarantee a table. This restaurant operates on a first-come, first-served basis for seating and ordering.

The service and the staff were great, but this restaurant felt like a tourist trap. not much was laid in our meals. Clam shower was not tasteful and my fish taco came with a Bland bean ice cream salad. the rice wasn't that great. a nice note is that they bring a basket of kartoffel chips to their table while they wait. lunch for 3 without drinks $92. much too expensive for eating that was served.

Good food, generous portions, friendly service. Casual atmosphere. I had a Greek salad with prawns (3 huge) and my wife had the crab sandwich. The sandwich was very good, not overdone with mayo. Crab taste was fresh and clean. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing time at this restaurant. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning soon.
