Da Maurizio - Halifax

Very impressed; the hostess was so pleasant and welcoming. The waitress and all staff were so pleasant. As a vegetarian, my wife often is not often impressed with restaurant menus for vegetarians but there was enough vegetarian options on the menu and the pasta that she selected was delightful. I had calamari and a haddock dinner which was also delightful. We will be back next time we are home from Ontario.

First time here but definitely not our last...exceptional meal, great service, wonderful atmosphere. Our server was very attentive had great suggestions on choices. I had the duck special, my husband had the lobster pasta special...just WOW for both. Shared a caesar salad to start, very tasty a nice size for sharing. Liquid dessert was the daMaurizio mocha coffee with cocoa powder, JD Shore rum cream cinnamon liqueur! Had a reservation elsewhere for New Year's Eve but not excited about their set menu so chose here instead...no set menu but some wonderful specials for the evening in addition to their regular menu.

Food was fantastic and service was great. Both risotto balls and filet were perfectly cooked and full of flavour.

We always have a great experience at Damaurizio. The food never disappoints, and the service is exceptional—definitely over a 10! We love going there and keep returning. It's one of the best restaurants in Halifax.
