Freeman's Little New York - Halifax

Shoutout to Reggie this man deserves a raise. The type of person who can make a connection with anyone; Friendly, personable, genuine and and an amazing up seller. Best bang for your buck better tip win win.

Short version; frozen pizza and a can of Ragus would’ve been better than this experience. One of the worst meals I’ve had eating out. The atmosphere was not great, place was pretty empty, that should have given us a clue. The one upside was the good wait staff. We read the good reviews online and expected the food to be good, I assume the reviews are inflated by intoxicated college crowd as the bar is open late. If you’re just looking for a drink, the bar would be fine but if you’re looking for food go somewhere else.

Best poutine I had in years. The best part was the thick gravy. Didn't drench the fries, which were also excellent. Highly recommend getting the fish and chips but upgrading to a poutine.

Placed a take out order with the friendly lady.Garlic fingers were great. Really liked how the cheese went right to the crust.Also ordered a personal pizza which was great.

Got in late to Halifax and this place was recommended by our hotel. A short walk and we came upon it. Glad we did it made our first night turn out great. Sever was friendly, beer was cold and appetizers we had were cooked perfect. Great bar and tables laid out nicely. Made a second stop through our vacation week as it really is a fun place to hang out.
