Gahan House Nova Centre - Halifax

The food here is fantastic! I really loved the tuna tartare, fish and chips, and mussels. I've visited several times, and I'll definitely return whenever I'm in town!

We hosted our office party in the restaurant's private room, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was superb, and the service was attentive.

I attended a Christmas work lunch at Gahan House and, unfortunately, my experience wasn't great. I've visited three of their locations in the past, and they used to have a good reputation. However, the chicken sandwich I ordered was barely acceptable. The crispy chicken was overcooked and dry, and it was served with only a handful of fries that seemed carelessly placed on the plate. The portion was small and mediocre, and when I ordered a Pepsi, I didn't receive any refills. The waitstaff only approached our table once, at the end of the meal, to bring the bill. Overall, it was quite disappointing. While it wasn’t terrible, it's definitely below average compared to what I remember. The last time I visited Gahan House, I also felt underwhelmed, so this will be my final visit, and I’ll be sure to suggest that my colleagues avoid it in the future.

Very bad experience at this location. Server was rude and not in a good moon.Worst part, i saw a mouse running in the dinning area, I thought it cant be reel, i must have imagine that, but my girlfriend came back from the washroom and mention she just saw a mouse as well. I run to the bar to mention it to 2 staff member, they answer was, no worry its probably the same one you saw twice. I asked for the bill and leave.

This is an Erik only review as Cheryl did not attend. I ate here on August 26, 2023. I was seated quickly, and my server arrived promptly. My server was friendly and efficient. I had a couple of beers, calamari and the brown bag fish and chips. The food arrived in a reasonable time and was well presented. The calamari was good with a nice texture and flavor. The fish and chips were decent with the fish being a little greasy, but tasty. This was a nice lunch, and I would definitely eat here again.
