Le French Fix Pâtisserie - Halifax

It was our first time to visit. The chocolate croissant was not flaky, a bit tough and thin on chocolate. I have had better.

This charming little café is delightful! I enjoyed a latte and a mocha, both of which were excellent. However, the vanilla and chocolate cannelés were rather disappointing; they didn’t taste fresh. The barista was very friendly, and the seating area had a lovely pop of color.

This charming little cafe has a limited seating area upstairs. The menu offers a small selection of pastries that are made fresh every day, with different options available on different days of the week. The croissant is exceptional, featuring multiple layers of crispy flakiness. It's much denser than any other croissant I've had, which are usually quite airy. I highly recommend it!

From the outside, it may look unremarkable, but inside it's simply delightful. The café offers exquisite, authentic pastries, along with a great selection of tea and coffee, all served with a warm and cheerful demeanor. If I didn't live 4,000 miles away, I would practically be a regular! If you have the chance to visit, do so—you won't be disappointed.
