Sea Smoke Restaurant Bar - Halifax

I visited Sea Smoke for the first time with friends, and I was truly impressed! The sushi was excellent, and I was extremely pleased with all the dishes I tried. The service was good, and the waterfront patio was stunning. I will definitely be returning! The restaurant was clean and well-organized.

The food was exceptional! We started with calamari and crispy rice topped with tuna. Both were tasty, and we also enjoyed the local oysters, which were simply delightful. However, the crispy rice with tuna was a bit on the heavy side, and the tuna flavor got somewhat lost among all the rice. For our main course, we opted for the sushi menu. The fish was incredibly fresh and practically melted in our mouths. We tried the black mamba roll, but be aware that it is fried and contains cream cheese, making it quite filling with 12 pieces. Additionally, we had the lobster sushi roll and the Nova Scotia roll, both of which were absolutely amazing! The sushi truly stood out as the highlight of our evening!

The food was delightful, and our server, Steven, was attentive and extremely helpful.

The sashimi was outstanding, and the ambiance by the fire was wonderful!

Excellent service, a lovely atmosphere, and generous portion sizes. I would definitely recommend!
