Sea Smoke Restaurant Bar - Halifax

The food was exceptional! We started with calamari and crispy rice topped with tuna. Both were tasty, and we also enjoyed the local oysters, which were simply delightful. However, the crispy rice with tuna was a bit on the heavy side, and the tuna flavor got somewhat lost among all the rice. For our main course, we opted for the sushi menu. The fish was incredibly fresh and practically melted in our mouths. We tried the black mamba roll, but be aware that it is fried and contains cream cheese, making it quite filling with 12 pieces. Additionally, we had the lobster sushi roll and the Nova Scotia roll, both of which were absolutely amazing! The sushi truly stood out as the highlight of our evening!

My family and another family had dinner at this restaurant on Monday, the day after Canada Day. The decor, ambiance, and attention to detail were exceptional. The food went above and beyond my expectations. We tried almost everything on the menu, and my top picks were the Titanic and Holy Dynamite rolls. I can't wait to explore the entire menu and bask in the delightful atmosphere once more!

We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant! My husband and I were delighted with the oysters, and the wine was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. When it started to rain, they kindly moved us to a table that was better sheltered under an umbrella.
