Tan's Family Resturant - Halifax

I've heard some 'horror stories' about double billing or receiving cold food, but I have never personally encountered these issues. From what I've gathered, whenever customers brought up these concerns, the staff was more than willing to accommodate them, even going so far as to issue full refunds and prepare fresh food for a friend of mine who received cold dishes upon returning home. While there may be better Chinese restaurants out there, if you're in the area and want a convenient option, this place is a great little spot that I would recommend.

Food: I also agree that the service is slow, but perhaps that's what makes it so delicious?

The food here is exceptional! The crispy beef is the best flavor I've ever experienced (aside from beer). The owners are very friendly, which adds to the overall experience. It's a perfect recipe for success!

This has been my go-to Chinese food place in the HRM since it opened. I've never had a bad meal here. Absolutely delicious and very generous portion sizes! My go-to is combo one and I also love their xo crispy beef! And I'm not usually to big on egg rolls but I'm OBSESSED with the ones at Tan's!

Everything was hot,perfectly cooked and fresh ! Egg rolls are amazing! Glad we gave this place a try and will definitely be back.
