The Mercantile Social - Halifax

Really cool vibe with amazing interior decorations but... 1. Gets quite noisy during the evening. Bad acoustics? 2. Ordered a Mohito which is good if you like it VERY strong with lots of alcohol, but bad if you like it tasty and minty. Not sure if I would want to go back but worth experiencing once?

Had a very nice dinner here. The calamari appetizer is quite good. I had the NS halibut which was perfectly cooked. My partner had the steak which was great. The desserts are very tasty as well.

Went for the first time and broguth some clients to enjoy a nice diner. I had the seafood pasta with some shared appetizers and couple of drinks and all was very good.

Amazing atmosphere. The tall table for 6 was perfect on the deck. Sangria was perfect as was the margarita. Our boys loved their burgers. The fish tacos and California Super Food salad were incredible as was the Newfoundland Cod and cauliflower. And to top it all off, the cheesecake was a perfect way to end the evening. And of course the service was top notch. 5 out of 5.

Had a lovely meal at the Mercantile Social. They are certainly a ?cocktail spot? do go to but also have delicious food to back that up.
