Café Coffee Day - Haliyal

A ccd open branch, present at the ground floor of urban oasis mall. When i visited they had very weak server, unable to even detect beans and they accepted only cash.

Cafe Coffee Day at the Entrance of Urban Oasis Mall on Gokul Road/ Hubli Airport Rd is one of the most unacceptable places to stop by to have a cup of coffee after a long day of shopping at the mall. Here's a break down of my experience by points and you will know why I have given only 1 star to this location. 1. Old and New menus cause confusion about actual pricing of items as both are being used. New Menu cards with GST should be made available to each table. 2. Mr. ASHOK, the manager/ server/ cleaner/ cook/ coffee maker is purely a one man show of the location, specially on a busy Sunday evening which is a peak time for families to visit this place during weekend. So you can imagine the waiting time with 4 tables full of people and everyone ordering stuff. 3. The food/ hot combo served was extremely cold because after it was prepared it was kept on the side for about 10 minutes, by the time it reached our table it was cold and the bread had become hard. 4. Once we received the coffee(2 cappuccinos) were served the ordered flavors were mixed up and we got a flavor we had not ordered, considering this a major problem I objected and was told this will take more time to fix and I that I should wait for 20 more minutes. I couldn't wait as we had already spent 50 minutes to get this coffee. 5. When time for payment came, I was told to pay Rs. 700 cash which is absolutely not acceptable from an upscale, youngsters hangout place like CCD, where Paytm and many other modes of payment are displayed big and bold in banners and posters. So I said let's try my credit card, no luck! Then we tried debit cards, then Paytm, then UPI nothing worked. I was told to go the SBI ATM diagonally across the road from the mall building and bring cash, I walked as my car was in the basement, only to realize that it had NO CASH sign hanging on the ATM door. I bought my car out and drove around to 3 ATM's and had sheer bad luck that day, unable to get cash from anywhere. Finally I ran into an old friend, I transferred him money thru Paytm and got cash from him, took it to the CCD counter waited 15 minutes before it was collected and my bill settled. OVERALL A TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. FIX THIS ASAP CCD, BEFORE IT IS TO LATE.!!

Very bad experience and this coffee day is not at all customer friendly, they are dancing on their own tune, never listen to customers. Taste wise it was worst. Never go to this coffee day.

Oldest coffee day in Hubli , it's basically pay and take the order style service , also the AC was not able working , so had to come out this summer

Great time good coffee ambience must be improved. The service and quality of the food were both good. Prices seem a little high for India. The staff was efficient and friendly. fabulous café that needs several visits to try all the delicious things on the menu. Coffee is good... Sandwiches are fresh and ingenious. Donuts are enormous and tempting.... remains open even if you are late. Nice place for relaxation....
