Sonny's - Hallandale Beach

I really enjoyed my meal; I had the salmon croquettes, which were fantastic. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5-star rating is that it's been a while since my last visit, and I think the restaurant needs a better menu display. There's a menu in the window, but it's not very noticeable. It would also be helpful to have paper menus available on the side so that new customers, who aren't regulars, can easily see their options. Please consider providing menus for everyone!

This charming family-owned restaurant is fantastic! The owner is such a cool person. I find myself stopping by quite often these days for their incredibly fresh and hot biscuits, which are served with a dollop of apple jelly perfectly spread between the two halves. I absolutely love it here! There's never a long wait, and the staff is always friendly when serving me. I tried the mystery drink for the first time, and it was surprisingly tasty, although not at all what I expected. I think I was in the mood for something a bit tart, but I wasn't disappointed. I usually go for the half breakfast with bacon or the full breakfast with salmon croquettes—everything is delicious!

Breakfast was delicious, and I was not disappointed at all. The only downside is that they don't accept card payments. However, you can use Zelle and Cash App instead.

Food is good and prices are great. Standing room only (basically a take-out situation)
