Yudy Bakery - Hallandale Beach

I'm not from this area, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover such high-quality Colombian treats and a fantastic selection, all at reasonable prices. I just wish I hadn't rushed and had taken some better pictures. I absolutely loved it!

We arrived late, but we always make it a point to visit this restaurant whenever we're in Florida. The flavors are fantastic, and the service was warm and attentive. The empanadas were excellent, and the coffee was equally wonderful.

This restaurant has been a favorite of mine for years, but now the signage is gone and the place is almost empty. Are they renovating, relocating, or closing down? Does anyone know?

I would not recommend this place—it's a waste of time and money. The Health Department should consider closing it down. I walked into the bakery and the two employees mistook me for a customer, trying to charge me before I even placed my order. When I asked if they had coffee refills, given that they have booths for sitting, one employee responded with "No Spiki English," and then the younger, thinner employee began to laugh. The coffee was average, and the pastries were nothing special. They should really learn English since they are here.
