Wapo Tacos - HALLANDALE

Where do I start? This restaurant is extremely overpriced. I ordered the three Pollo Asada tacos and this is what I received. It felt like I arrived right before closing time. Instead of beans, I got some water that looked like beans—there were absolutely no beans at all. I really should have sent it back. AVOID THIS PLACE! I hope they someday realize they should just close down instead of continuing to cheat customers. It was a complete disappointment!

Their menu offers a variety of options, including soups, salads, burritos, chimichangas, quesadillas, fajitas, soft and hard tacos, Wapo plates or bowls, as well as beer, wine, and both hot and cold beverages. The ambiance inside the restaurant was quiet and colorful, with plenty of seating available for patrons. I was greeted by a female employee at the counter and ordered the chimichanga de carne to go. It was prepared quickly, and I received a generous portion of tender steak with rice wrapped in a soft tortilla, topped with sour cream, shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes, along with some homemade salsa and chips. It was quite delicious. I plan to return in the future to try other items whenever I feel like enjoying some Tex-Mex food.

Steer clear of this place! It's incredibly overpriced—$15 for just three tacos! There's also a 3.5% convenience fee for card payments, and a large tip is automatically included in the final bill. The fish tacos were completely overcooked, the hard shells were too baked, and the portions were ridiculously small. Just don't go!

Been here 3 times. Service was great. It's a place to grab a quick bite or have a drink and some tacos. Don't expect an elegant Mexican restaurant. Everything is cooked fresh right in front of you (if you're sitting at the bar). Nice drink specials. Limited seating inside. Again this is quick bite and go type of place.

Worst tacos ever! We decided to give this place a try since we were nearby. We ordered tacos al pastor, and minutes later, the tacos appeared at the table, huge tasteless chunks of pork full of fat, or let me rephrase, huge chunks of pork fat as if you were putting pieces of lard in your mouth with every bite. In addition to this, salsas were extremely cold, and so were the rice and beans. Not to mention that an 18% tip was included in the check; I wonder If this is a regular practice or if we were just forced to. No, I do not recommend this place. It is a complete disgrace to Mexican Food!
