This café is especially for this small town of Hallein for good reasons, which is hardly worth mentioning in the normal cafe life. Hallein is a beautiful Austrian town surrounded by forests and lakes clean and safe! enough to swim. But as a tourist city it is remarkable that most local shop owners have very little or no English speaking skills. In addition, the whole city closes on Saturday noon for the weekend, no buts. And several cafes in the city tried to ask for toast with breakfast is like asking a tener's loan from a stranger. You are made to feel like you unapologetic broken wind in courteous businesses. No one has to eat here for breakfast. All this changes when you find this cafe near the city center that boasts that it is open daily. It is warm colorful and a leak to sit. The owner/manager has very good English and if I refer to a toastia in the picture menu she confirmed, I want a toastia? And nodding and smiling as if I won the secret prize I asked for another two pieces of toast. All foods are well presented and the staff are friendly and attentive. What a relief to find such an oasis on Sunday. If you ever find yourself in Hallein, it is definitely worth a visit.
