Kfc - Haltom City

This is arguably the worst restaurant I've encountered in my 35 years. They never answer the phone, likely because they know every caller has a complaint about their mistakes. The food was subpar at best—overcooked chicken, meat that looked artificially colored, an overwhelming amount of cheese with barely any pasta, resembling more of a cheese pudding than macaroni and cheese. The staff was rude, openly insulting customers. They were missing several items from the menu and refused to consider any modifications. The place is perpetually dirty, and someone really needs to teach them a lesson in customer service because I've never seen anything quite like it. I honestly wish the owner of this franchise would face financial ruin, as they truly deserve it.

The drive to the restaurant was decent. They appeared a bit overwhelmed, which I can understand. Our food arrived fresh and hot. The reason I gave them a three-star rating is that they made a mistake with our drinks, giving us a regular Pepsi instead of the diet Pepsi we ordered. Since we're diabetics, this was a significant oversight, but I can overlook it.

Even for fast food, it was quite disappointing. The taste of the chicken was off, and everything else was unappetizing.

Order food in the store and there was no single customer in the restaurant. Wait for 15 minutes, but our food wasn't ready! Went and remember the girl in the checkout about our food. She said it was done. 15 minutes, but our food was not ready yet!! Several people came and took their food! Went amd asked the person who took our order to repay us our money as we waited for food for over 25 minutes. The cashier was on his personal phone conversation with someone all the time while he tried to repay our money!!!! Worst service ever!!!! Never back in this restaurant!!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. They are ALWAYS out of stuff. Tonight they were out of extra crispy and green beans but didn't tell us until we waited 15 minutes to get to the window. Crappy management of a business. Surprised they haven't closed down. Don't bother wasting your time or money here.
