Feedback gevenThis restaurant used to be one of my favorite places to dine, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. The fish and chips were undercooked and of poor quality, while the southern fried chicken patty was tough and flavorless. The chips seemed like they were bought from a budget supermarket. When asked by a waitress about the food, we were honest about our dissatisfaction. The waitress responded rudely and unprofessionally, unable to accept constructive criticism and handle customer feedback maturely.
The Church View is a charming pub with delicious and reasonably priced food. Monday evenings feature a fun quiz hosted by Garry. It can get quite crowded, especially on bank holidays. The parking is good, but the beer garden area could be larger as it is mostly occupied by smokers now.
I went to this restaurant with a large group for a Christmas lunch. The food was very disappointing, as it seemed to be mostly convenience or frozen items. The only fresh items on the plate were unpeeled carrots and a single small potato. Everyone in our party was disappointed with the experience. The young waiter seemed overwhelmed and it was clear he was under a lot of pressure. As a retired catering manager, I do not believe this meal deserves any stars. It's a shame because the venue itself is quite nice. Overall, the dining experience was very poorly executed.
Enjoy eating here. bar very small though so wouldnt come here just for a drink, do 2 for £10/12
Went here for the first time lovely little pub food and dessert was nice but the staff just haven't got a clue. Paid for meal and drinks then sat down didn't no you had to go the bar with reciept to collect drinks! Dinner arrived then waited 30mins for plates to be moved then had to ask for dessert which took another20mins never again
