This charming traditional pub is exactly how a pub should be. With fantastic food, atmosphere, staff, and service, I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area. Price range is £20-£30 per person. Food, service, and atmosphere all receive a top rating of 5 out of 5.

Amazing steak pie, just like how my grandma used to make it. The chunky chips were perfect. The sticky toffee pudding was fantastic. The service was fast and friendly. (By the way, I requested no peas in my dish). The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. Overall rating: Food 5/5, Service 5/5, Atmosphere 5/5.

This is my first time in Thirsk. And so the first time In the Mowbray Arms with my one time experience. I would have to disagree with the 2 previous 1 star reviews my steak pie was one of the best I'v had in any pub and my wife was very happy with her meal. So I have to agree with the management. Portion Size Was good enough for me I thought it was value for money. It was definitely a friendly Traditional pub with good beer. Also dog friendly. I just wish it was closer To my home town in Staffordshire.
