After our walk through the old town of hamburg it was time for a rest on a terrace at the border of the Alstersee. we found a nice table in this radiant restaurant/beach with boat rental. a very friendly waitress came to our order, a lemon / mint fruit juice and a plate with waffel, vanilla ice cream, hot cries and cream. 5/5. we pass a nice hour in the sun, which is staring over the water, to the many sailboats and water bikes. a good place to pamper yourself and the guests with a drink, snack or even a simple meal for a past.

If they are in a hurry, they don't come here because it's crazy slow, but if they have time, this is the best beach bar at the time when it's gone! one of the few places with proper beds and the feeling of nikki beach or similar European. good prices for drinks and eating! but they can only order from one person, the rest of the staff only bring out drinks and remove empty glasses. good music and many happy people!

It may not look much from the shore but once you're out on the jetty that houses this bar and small restaurant the view is spectacular, especially on a busy Sunday afternoon when the lake is covered in all sorts of craft. The seating is...along a strip which provides a variety of tables, chairs, stools, and lounging areas worth having a look, as we did, to see whether something is free even on a busy day. The drinks choice is fine there is also shandy on offer and the service we received was very good. The menu is limited but worked well for us with three sharing the mixed appetisers whilst I went for the substantial pesto sandwich. (By the by, the restaurant closes for an hour from 13.30 to 14.30. Even if these things weren't much good it is great fun to spend an hour or so watching the passing boats and their very varied pilots.

Vendors would kill for a view like theirs. The establishment is right on the water (literally) and you would fall in love with the view. I went out there thinking oh boy, I 'm gonna come here every day of the week after work during my...visit . And left with I 'm never coming back again . Our waitress came over 15 minutes after we arrived to rudely ask what we wanted to drink and had less-than-zero patience to answer any questions. Our beers came 25-minutes later (warm just to add). And the check arrived 20 minutes after we asked for it. 10 Euros and 40 cents. We handed her a 20 Euro bill and she aggressively informed us that she has no change as if it 's our problem. Ended throwing a 10 back at us and stormed off. Frankly speaking, if I had 5 minutes to waste I 'd make an issue of it. However I thought I 'd take my money somewhere else. Stay away if you can 't tolerate such idiotic behavior

We were breakfast there today! the local makes up at 10:00 and offers from 10-12 a nice breakfast offer! the agitation with ham and cut was really good! and the müsli with vanillequark was a good portion! with the view of the most interesting a nice local to breakfast! but surely also for lunch and dinner!
