Alsterpark - Hamburg

This restaurant is hidden in a park in a hamburger suburb, with the river at its facade. we had luck that the weather was friendly, because the sun seemed, it was warm and the native paddledled crisp. the flowers were all in full blossom and everything was extremely green and lush. because spargel was season, we had the special of spargel with sauce hollandaise and ham and were not disappointed. the environment was wonderful and the food was perfect. it was an unforgettable experience.

The "Alsterpark" is determined mainly by its very intimate ambience.You feel like friends too hospitable in the living room.The deko was very nice, though still snow was lying outside.The terrace should be at the next time,if the weather finally plays,newly designed.Insummer surely a very idyllic place right at the Alsterlauf.

We celebrated our 45th anniversary in this wonderful restaurant. everything was arranged over email as we have lived in Canada for 33 years, and the owners made it a perfect experience for us - a thousand thanks! the food was superb (extras fuer kinder waited in the kitchen - but were not required) the decoration so tasteful and the attention for any desire of our gaeste was unique. the date of our celebration fell on the day of a deutschland uefa pokal game and our host arranged last minute to follow the opportunity for our interresed gaeste this game. he made our celebration a dream wedding after so many years.This small restaurant is a perfect place for only two or with the whole famile. Many thanks - it was a great celebration! we hope that in 5 years we can celebrate our golden wedding there!.

Even if this restaurant is a little off the normal way of a Hamburg visitor, the restaurant is picturesque in a small cottage located on the former, which is a small river. in the summer you can sit outside and watch canuators, escapes etc. and take either coffee and cake or a whole lunch/dinner, before or after a walk or a bike tour along the aster or a walk over the ohlsdorfer friedhof, not far away, which is more similar to a park (recommended!.) that eat is clearly inspired by the French cuisine, but with local/Mediterranean/international stops. the quality of the food is good to very good, the service dedicated, attentive and friendly, will also be discussed on special requests. the restaurant's interior is classic-sedel, but cozy. I would rather classify the restaurant in the middle field, it is not overpriced. at our visits the restaurant was usually quite empty, but this is more likely to be due to the hidden position than to the quality.
