Feedback gevenSteak was delicious but fries are a little put off. Seems like frozen fries, should be improvised. Portion is moderate. Need to make reservation especially on weekends, can get crowded.
We booked our table in the afternoon, but when we arrived we had a long wait whilst staff hurriedly set up a table for 6 people up on the third floor away from the main restaurant. When we took our seats we were not made to feel welcome, and the waitress almost threw the menu cards at us. After we received our drinks, we ordered our meals but then waited some 45 minutes for our main courses. The food was excellent and is what makes me give this rating a 3. But the manner of the waitress all evening was curt and unfriendly, and to top it all we waited an age just to pay our bill and during that time we didn’t see one waiter/waitress to ask for the bill and had to send one of our party downstairs to ask. A big shame as we regularly use this restaurant when visiting the area and the performance of the waitress spoiled what should have been a fun evening.
What is nice with this restaurant is that you find always the same quality. I have the feeling I know by heart the international menu but it is no problem. Meat is good; wine Cotes du Rhône is very good; Bavarian beer is sweet; there is also option for vegetarians... Employees take care of you. I recommend this place.
Steak is always very good in every blockhouse restaurant. I've eaten block house in hannover before. taste and quality are the same.
Meat lovers will love this place. cute, messieurs stick around or filet mignon are soou good! meatless dishes are of course possible. weine and beer are beautiful. only minus point: this restaurant does not know itself with senf; strange, since many people like to have something sniff to their flesh!
