Da Lui Restaurant - Hamburg

We were here for a fast espresso and a dessert. it was after 22.00 clock and the restaurant was too approx. 70% of the staff told us we should sit everywhere what we did. After the waiter came to pick up the orders, we asked for an espresso and dessert. the waiter moved the face, ripped the feed cards back, took the teller away and stacked them next to our table. after I had gone to the toilet, I confronted the waiter (maybe the owner) with his rude maniacs; he only replied that the place was nothing for people who only came to a drink. whatever. it is certainly not the only Italian restaurant in hamburg. to be fair: the tiramisu we had was pretty good.

We have encountered this place on the search for an evening meal for a visit in the planetarium. it is a more efficient place with (mostly) solid Italian eating. nothing excellent, but good, if they are in this opposite on the look for authentic italian. I gave 3 stars instead of 4 because my steak in Gorgonzola sauce was very hard to chew. I recommend staying at first courses and pasta.

Cozy, intimate and very tasty! the atmosphere is warm and welcoming....the eating tastes homemade....You do not want to leave this place!

The head waiter of indo Asian origin was said to speak English, but did not seem to understand, even the simplest ask. eg serve them chid portions? he pointed to the menu without answer. do they serve in broth crumbs? he shows on the menu. after the order of steaks he seemed to rush into the kitchen; will they ask how we want the steaks? No! what if I want it medium? we always do it here, if I don't want it medium rare English always want it well done that was not the question. Tell me what you want at the end of the meal and after the release of the review, we have credit cards. he then announced that they did not accept cards. we learned later that it was a bad one. in our conversation with the server he said that they earlier accept cards, but the machine currently did not work. exceptionally bad.

I was here a few times and it's always good to eat. the personal is friendly. it is located on very busy corner, hardly a parking space. but there is a subway (subway) to walk.
