MANGIA e BEVI Sonja Vanek - Hamburg

Had lunch at this cozy restaurant as i always come here whenever in Hamburg. Since it was Thursday they have Calves Liver.. amazing!! I could eat portions. The spaghetti Vongole is also amazing.. worth to try when you’re in Hamburg.

It is obviosus that the locals know it and go to have lunch and dinner. It was full of people. We had a good luck and got a table for five. The hostess explained patiently for us newcomers how we should go and choose what...we wanted form a bar and then brought it al beautifully served. Quick and Nice. Service fabulous even though there was constanly so much going on. The entrance decieves! Mangia e Bevi in the Sierichstrasse a very hip part of Hamburg

Mangia E Bevi is a delightfull restaurant with a kitchen that tells you only one thing, the chef loves his food as he loves his Guests.. At the speisekarte you will find every day a new set of dishes, each and every day you will...not only be happy you will be positivly surprised and amazed. I am the lucky person of having office in the area, OMG I can go the same place and every time leave with a smile, prices are insane cheap and service is like in Italy, with a smile, passion and served with LOE.... I can only recommend this place to people who loves food and feeling welcome... It is crowded, there is atmosphere and it is infact an adventure.. Bon Voyage and Bon Appetit

My boyfriend and I stumbled across this busy restaurant/ deli whilst doing the walk around the Alster Lake. A kind waitress guided us through the German menu to help us select something to eat. It seemed there weren't many tourists in the restaurant but plenty...of locals which I find is always a good sign. We had great wine served in a carafe and delicious, plentiful dishes of pasta. There was a busy, very typical Italian style atmosphere and the owner even came and spoke a little Italian with us towards the end of the meal. Highly recommended, great value and a nice reprieve from the cold after a long walk in the intermittent snow showers.

Fantastic eating, incredibly friendly staff, we come back! the antipasti are divine, the fish dishes kidnap a tastefully to italia and make happy greetings, anca
