Manju - Hamburg

On recent travels I passed by Hamburg Central Station and discovered Manju. Indian food in Germany is often bland and has quantity versus quality malus. Manju is different: fresh, authentic and nice people. Tikka and other classic dishes can be ordered on the counter and the kitchen will prepare on the go. Recommended

Located in Hamburg railway station. mainly Indian foods are available. quality and testy is average and prices are reasonable. services are reasonable and ambience is average. place looks like congested

In February 2016, I visited this restaurant for the 2nd time, the last visit being about 5 years back. I had a vegetarian plate (thaali), which was very filling, had a variety of curries served with rice, and papad. (Please refer photo) Overall a very satisfying and decent meal experience in the middle of Hamburg HBf train station, which makes life easy for those who are vegetarian.

We were randomly pushed to the hamburg main railway station and decided to try different dishes: both with meat and with vegetables they were really good, very sharp. in the offer over were several other dishes, also with day offers, in any case all to taste! / they were really good with the sweet, many special. in the offer were many other dishes, also with day offers, surely all to taste!!!

We ate in the manju too night. all the dishes looked the same, smelled the same and tasted the same. all had cocosmur in it. it is neither Indian nor Thai food - a kind of fusion, I think. only a vegetarian dish and the thali was filled four times with the same dish!
