Feedback gevenAn artist, a gastronomy and a writer founded the openly designed ecklokal on the fleet island 17 years ago. Since then it has been a younger and older. well bourgeois, with a small, internationally cured, often Indian touch presents the two-day changing card. the table-spitz potato salad with greed and crumbling on leaf salts proves to be simple. a fruity-piquante sweet cure takes inconspicuous, but unambiguously into the world of exotic flavors. and only desserts – new York cheesecake with cream and berry, walnut copper cake with chocolate glaze and vanilla sauce ... hmmm!
We came here early and there were still seats available. Ordered the currywurst and beef with potato. My currywurst was the best I had especially with the salad and roasted potato. Service was friendly and price reasonable. Highly recommended!
I had two meals at this restaurant. Both of them memorable experiences. The first time I was solo, the server spoke broken English and I spoke no German, but he recommended Seelachsfilet aus der Pfanne, angerichtet mit Radicchio-Chicoree-Risotto und ‚Salsa Verde’ that was delicious, he...was so friendly and helpful, that when my friends wanted to go to dinner I suggested we go here. Once again the service was fantastic (different server) and I had Dal “ (Indisches Linsengericht), angerichtet mit Joghurtdip, gerösteten Mandeln, Gurken, frischem Koriander und Basmatireis that was amazing.
Great place to people watch. The bench seating provides an easy opportunity to converse with others. Menu in German, but we could puzzle out much and our server enthusiastically translated the rest for us (there area modest but reasonable number of options). The food...is good nothing especially memorable, butI doubt you'd be disappointed. Good German beer.
