Ocean Fisch- Und Steakrestaurant

We ate here based on reviews and to be honest if I was walking past this I wouldn’t have gone there but I am glad we did. The food was very good and we were not rushed.

We looked around for a fish restaurant and stumbled across this place. It’s very small so expect a small wait if it’s busy. The staff are friendly and they have an English menu. I had the pikeperch which is a fresh water fish. The meal...was lovely but the fish was over cooked. It was tasty nevertheless.

Weekend away with my fiancée. First Hamburg never been will be back if you’ve not visited suggest you do. Back to the restaurant, catfish was delicious partners steak was delectable, cannot stress how good the food was, service was good, beer was good. Yes it’s...small but even when full it wasn’t uncomfortable we weren’t rushed despite dawdling a bit. Try it it was excellent, English wasn’t good but then I’m in Germany so my bad!!!!

Went here because of the good reviews in TripAdvisor but got heavily disappointed. Place looked more like a take away diner than restaurant. Were served bread which was old and obviously cut in slices without good attention. The tuna salad was drowning in oil with...salad leaves with brown edges, very untasty. Schnitzel was so so but had much better. After all not a good dinner.

The restaurant is directly across from the Port. It was busy but we were seated quickly. The complimentary bread basket was delicious.The bread was fresh, warm and homemade. It was accompanied by an aioli type spread that was tasty too. I ordered the white asparagus...soup as an appetizer and my son ordered the tomato soup which were both delicious. For my main course, I ordered the pasta with redfish and a side salad. My son ordered the spaghetti carbonara. The portions were a nice hearty size and very good. Drinks, apps dinner came up to Excellent, especially for dinner.
