Odie's Place On Whitney - Hamden

This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Connecticut is known for having some of the best pizza in the world, and this pizza was absolutely amazing.

The quality of the food at this restaurant varies depending on who is cooking in the kitchen. It can range from excellent to not good at all. Occasionally, the pizza is so thin that it is barely edible – while I enjoy thin crust, this pizza collapses as you try to eat it. I hope that the other cook receives training, as their pizza is fantastic.

I had an incredible experience at Odies Place. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I was out riding the bike trail and this place was open and serving food and drinks when I was in the area. There is a gap in the fence that requires riding across the grass to get to this place, but other than that it is way more bike friendly than it looks from the trail. I got a mixed drink and a water, food looked and smelled great, but I decided to pass because it was a little early. People and place were nice, very much a regulars bar but the regulars are nice. There is plenty of fence by the door to lock a bike to.
