Tonino's Pizzeria - Hamden

The pizza here is incredible. I've lived in Hamden for a long time, and a friend recently introduced me to this place, and I was truly impressed. Ever since, I've been coming at least twice a week! There's a gentleman who works during the day—I'm not sure if he’s the owner—but his customer service is exceptional. I can't stop recommending this place to everyone! Stop by for a slice, and I guarantee you'll want to return for the largest pizza box they offer!

The pizza is tasty, and the dinners are satisfactory. The delivery service is quick, and the location is convenient.

Amazing pizza. I always think about picking up a pie but then I remember that they don’t have a 18 inch pie. The difference between a 16 vs 18 inch is equivalent to an 8 inch pizza extra so it’s a big deal breaker. An 18 inch is a real large size and I think they should offer it even if they label it as “extra large”. If they did this I’m sure more people including myself would order more. Their next size up is a party size which is way too big. For 2-3 people, a 16 is too small and it’s way too costly to order a 16 inch and a 10 inch. For the meantime, I will stick to their slices. Amazing pizza. Very NY style pie.

This is a typical pizza joint. I was a bit surprised that they don't offer ice for the soda.
