We started with tiger shrimp which was good but a bit small, followed by beef de casa with rice, potatoes, olives, Portuguese frites, and a fried egg. For dessert, we had Pastis de Nata (Portuguese custard tarts) with cappuccinos. We enjoyed two bottles of red wine with our meal. The restaurant also has a small bar for drinks and light dishes. It was a quiet and relaxing place for a nice dinner, and the portions were generous.
If you're a fan of Portuguese food, this is one of the best places to try. I often eat at this restaurant when I make Portuguese bacalau cosido. The restaurant is divided into a lounge and dining area. I suggest sitting in the bar/lounge area if you just want to enjoy some appetizers and drinks. The food, service, and value are all top-notch. The only dish I avoid is the clams, as they are the pre-frozen type and not fresh. The food is good overall, but I prefer fresh clams.
I love the food at this restaurant, the service is excellent as well! I definitely recommend trying the Beef a Casa dish (the pork one).
If you are into Portuguese food, this is one of the best place to try. I tend to eat at this restaurant whenever I crave the Portuguese bacalau cosido, boiled cod. The place is divided into a lounge and the restaurant sections. I recommend sitting on the bar/lounge section if you just want to have some appetizers and a few glasses of wine. Over all the food, service and price value can not be beaten. The only dish that I stay away from are the mussels, I love mussels, they are the open frozen type and not fresh. They are good eats but I prefer the fresh whole mussels.
LOOOOOOVE THE FOOD, service is great!! def would recomend the Beef a Casa (the pork one)
