The bouncers and people here are corrupt and evil, saw them kick out a guy and actually kick him, just because they didn't like him, people told me they are connected with criminals...
My girlfriend and I ate here around August 2013, right before a trip that included a week on the Dalmatian Coast in Croatia. I can't recall everything we ordered, but I remember we loved the Rabbit Poutine and we didn't quite get the appeal of the Chevapi (a deconstructed burger). The atmosphere on the patio, at the bar, and sitting at the one of the wine barrel tables was great . We stayed much longer than we planned as we got talking with one of the owners and discussed our upcoming trip with her, which led to sampling a few different Rakia (Balkan for fruit liquor) -our favourites being the Pear ones. We're looking forward to heading back now that we've visited Croatia and have a better idea of the cuisine and wine.
Looking forward to Croatian cooking, didn't expect to see hamburgers, fish and chips and polenta with curry! What?
Came here shortly after it opened so it may get better with time. Interior is very nicely done and it's a good-looking place to sit down for a drink. Incredibly short wine list and it was priced (I think) at the high end of what some of the wines are worth.Food was mediocre at best. I'm guessing they're attempting to make upscale Croation food but it's really not the kind of food that upgrades well. Done well, it's simple, hearty and filling. However it's also usually cheap and I'm thinking they're hoping to be able to charge a premium for the more "sophisticated" sides.I'm hoping they survive the opening learning curve as the people who run the place are very nice and seem like the kind of people you want to see succeed.
