My wife had a medium pho with chicken only. I started with fresh rolls with shrimp and pork. The pork was bacon. Excellent! My wife had a mango salad. That was a big portion. Both bowls of soup were packed with noodles. I had to use a fork to eat the noodles. The chopsticks couldn't lift them out. They were packed so tight. Try it. Don't be fooled by the dated appearance. Guaranteed you'll leave satisfied and at very reasonable prices.
Tried Made Pho You today. Had the rare beef pho. Broth was delicious! Service was good. Liked the Canadianized feel with modern music playing.
We had driven past this place a number of times and eventually went in after reading reviews. The menu is reasonably priced and the food is quite acceptable. On the other hand, the venue is not suitable for a date or any occasion requiring fanciness of any kind. The washrooms are back a very deteriorated hallway and the overall level of the decor is a little dreary, and in need of a face-lift. So... if one is in need of some satisfying food while on Queenston Road coming out of Hamilton, this place will definitely do the trick. Portions are fine, taste is good, service prompt. Just don't go expecting beauty!
This place is perfect to get take out and eat on the couch. The prices were fair, the time to prepare our order was quick and the food tasted good and fresh. My house special vermicelli was a great combination of chicken and pork on fresh noodles. The stir fry was also really good, could of used more flavour but overall good! Definitely would come back.
We visit many different Asian restaurants and are quite experienced in recognizing food quality. This place is not only visually unappealing with old decor and dirty premises, but the food is terrible. The Pho soup is an indicator of how good a Vietnamese restaurant is. The House Special Pho had beef in it that was different than anything I have experienced. The colour and texture of the beef slices was OFF. I was so scared that my family would be sick afterwards. I would NOT recommend this restaurant and would never return.
