Hamilton Station Vineyards

This has always been my favorite winery when exploring the various wineries in Loudoun. The service, atmosphere, and food are all excellent, and it feels much more welcoming and homey compared to some of the larger wineries.

My review is essential. Visit this place and you'll feel like part of the family. The wines are incredible—I even joined their wine club! They host live music every weekend, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. You won't be let down by any of their wines. In the summer, their Viognier, Petit Manseng, and Cascina are absolutely outstanding.

I had a wonderful experience with the wines I sampled on Saturday. I opted for a mixed flight of whites and reds since they don’t offer guided tastings. I also decided to take home a bottle of Petit Verdot. The staff were friendly and attentive, consistently keeping the tables clear of clutter. They frequently stopped by to remove empty flight boards and glasses. I wish I had taken a photo, but I was too busy enjoying my afternoon!

Beautiful location with plenty of parking and seating. Friendly staff and dog friendly. We got a bottle of Viognier to share and it was refreshing and delicious. Very easy to drink. They had some live music as well. I'm not sure if they serve food but we did bring some of our own.

The venue is super cute and cozy. The service is great and everyone working was super helpful when I had questions on their wine selection. We came on a beautiful, but chilly fall Saturday and there was plenty of seating outdoors. I am not sure if you can make reservations, it looked mostly first come, first serve. They have a wood-fire pit for staying warm around as well as to roast marshmallows. They sell smores kits just in case you forgot yours! I had their Hamilton wine flight which was $20. It came with a lovely mix of reds, whites, and a rose. I was not a huge fan of their wines in the flight. I typically like full-bodied, dry red wines and none of the ones in the flight had that profile. This place is definitely worth a visit to enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, live music, and a variety of wines. It is also family friendly with lots of space for kids to run around.
