Nap's Grill - Hamilton

I dined there on a Friday night and the restaurant was quite busy, but I was able to secure a table. The drinks were superb, and my server was friendly and extremely helpful—she clearly knew her stuff. I had the ribeye steak, which was fantastic, and the wings with mango habanero sauce were also excellent. This place is particularly famous for its burgers and fries, so it's definitely worth a visit!

The bar food was really good. We ordered a Cobb salad, mango wings, and a burger, and everything tasted delicious. Our waiter was friendly and attentive.

I ordered the Signature Burger, which was sizable but unfortunately dry and tasteless. I paid an extra $3 for bacon, but it was missing from my burger. I requested it to be cooked medium, but it came out well done and unevenly cooked, indicating there might be cold spots on the grill. My coworker encountered the same issue with his burger. The toppings bar was a nice touch for customizing your meal, but at 5:30 PM I expected it to be well-stocked; instead, it was nearly empty in several areas, and most of the sauce pumps were spluttering air. While there were plenty of staff members around, they seemed more focused on chatting with each other than attending to customers. This place has potential, and perhaps other menu items are better. However, by my standards, the burgers were mediocre at best.

In years past the flavor, and quality were so much better. The change in salads and burgers very noticeable and disappointing.

I went to the side where I could at the counter and retrieve my own food. When I did not leave a tip at the register, the person made a big deal out of it and told the others. Very poor. I will not return.
