Tessara - Hamilton Township

My Aunt's 70th birthday party was held here recently. There was ample parking in the back where the entrance is also located. This is a great, central location with a sizeable banquet venue. Plenty room for all the guests, the DJ station, and a spacious dance floor. The wait staff, attentive enough though, was not very friendly. However, I'd come back to experience lunch or maybe even a dinner date. The food was fresh and decent portions for all three meal options. Season it!

Recently dined out with my family on recommendation from a friend. We were SORELY disappointed. To begin, our experience was ruined by one of the owners, clearly heavily inebriated, who seemed to be fawning over a group of customers he seemed to know. They were loud, rowdy, the owners allowed them to change their kids diapers ON OTHER TABLES. I understand now why they gave us a 10% off coupon. The restaurant was underwhelming in food quality, although they shove a massive portion of their mediocre food in front of you. The drunk owner was incredibly loud, shouting, exclaimed his food is “the best food in Hamilton”, as he could barely stand up. I am confused as to why this restaurant was recommended. A pizzeria offers same quality food for 1/4th of the price. This was easily one of the worst dinner I’ve ever had the dismay to experience. Will not be returning. We waited 30 minutes for two cocktails and a glass of wine. The food came out a few minutes after the drinks had just arrived. This is certainly a poorly run restaurant. The staff seems apathetic and joyless, the owner was drunk, the maitre’ D seemed like he was about to have a panic attack despite the restaurant being quite empty (possibly because of the group loudly screaming and violating health codes). The service was cold, forced, and the food quality underwhelming. I will say the inside is out dated but looks somewhat rustic in a nice way. The outside… we weren’t even sure we were at the right place. Needs new owners, staff, and remodeling outside.

I always get the sweet cracker chicken and I promise you it never dissapoints me! If it's delivery or dine in it's always excellent! My only complaint is the lighting in the restaurant is somewhat poor and that's kind of annoying. Very solid restaurant overall.

Haven't been here in a very long time. Food was okay.

Dinner and service was very good . Lemoncello was excellent!
