Plates Cafe Bar Restaurant - Hamilton

Dinner and breakfast were included in our stay package and we were delighted with the quality of the products and the kitchen. my man said it was the best steak that was always a great meat and tenderness cut. my salmon was cooked to perfection. we shared a wood-fired pizza. delicious food and wonderful service.

We went down and discovered that the first thing we noticed was the total lack of real ambiente. no music made everyone hesitate to relax and talk. (we asked about this and apparently because the only music avail is playing the same dreary jazz music. in foo yer, they had asked customers to turn it off). my wife turned to spotify to fill a small gap). we wanted something substantial but not too heavy, we spied the king size prawn pizza. when it arrived, there was no sign of king prawns and hardly any sign of garnish at all. we said it was not a good thing, but nothing happened. for $22 I added a comparison of our local pizza shop. definitiw ranked bitter pizza and probably on misleading advertising. in contrast, the breakfast was excellent, but still no music.

Both I and men had the two course set menu of the evening and enjoyed it immensely. Now, presented and cook to a good standard. stall was very attentive and obligated. beautiful experience, thanks, everything.

Great for breakfast with perfect coffee and lovely staff. They will cook anything for you: Limited diner selection. Relaxing cocktail bar. Great food and service

Unfortunately a rather disappointing dinner seems like everything went wrong. also the booking was changed before the arrival and information was obviously not received. we waited an hour for our escape to come after they asked when they would come and...we were very busy when the restaurant wasn't even 1/4 full. was satisfactory, but nothing special. the staff did not seem to be trained and did not know what were available as soon as it was asked. the net came out half an hour later and was terrible. almost cold, nothing but prescribed. the rest of the party seemed to have similar opinions on their meal. we were not offered dessert menus, until this time it was so late that we no longer felt like it. after the payment of the evening, the employees were not even aware of the partner company with the acceptance of vouchers, and a compulsory administrator of the hotel had to be called to sort out. will definitely not return or recommend.
