Adobe Cantina Salsa - Hammond

Driving through and discovered this today. Outstanding food, great service. Taco Tuesday great tacos and quacomoli made at the table. Bean soup was very flavorful. Wish I lived closer.

So there 's a long time argument in our family over which place is best... Adobe 's or LaCarreta 's, I vote for Adobe 's because I feel the quality of the food is a little better, while the rest of the family likes Carreta 's... probably due to location and music. I always have the fajitas and have yet to be let down by either venue (BTW, they are affiliated or I wouldn 't have mentioned them both.  If I 'm looking for great food and a less hectic atmosphere I choose Adobe (mind you... they are just as busy. If I 'm up for a little more elbow rubbing, great music and good food... I choose LaCarreta 's. Can 't go wrong at either location! Don 't forget to 'like ' my reviews!

Never a bad experience.. Love this place! Might actually be my favorite restaurant in Hammond. Inexpensive, and DELICIOUS. Average service though. Once you pay, the waitresses tend to stop paying attention to you. I understand the 'no camping in my zone ' but I would like to spend more than 20 minutes conversing with my friends at lunch with consistent drink refills.

Enjoyable Experience. Party of four..Started out with a large Adobe cheese dip a chipotle shrimp appetizer..Both were fantastic ! 2 shrimp dinners, a steak chimichanga dinner a chicken fajitas dinner were all prepared to perfection and everyone had mentioned how good it all was..The waiter was attentative courteous..With 4 non-alcoholic drinks, 2 apps, four dinners the total bill came out to $82..A nice dining experience..<br/ 10 STARS out of 10 STARS for Adobe of Hammond !!

Great lunch. Lunch specials are awesome practically the entire menu for 1/2 off. Plenty of seating, courteous staff, and food was hot and quick.
