Tommy's On Thomas - Hammond

We have eaten at Tommy 's for the past 40 years, dating back to the original Tommy 's on 51 at university. Over time, the quality of the food has gone downhill, but we still made visits and did business with them (mostly out of tradition). well, I guess all things come to an end, because the last 2 pizzas we have gotten in the past week and half have been horrible. We have always ordered our pizza one of two ways, either Canadian Bacon or pepperoni original sweet sauce w/extra cheese. the last 2, the sauce hasn 't been very sweet. The pizza dough/crust tasted a bit differently, and both were burned. We brought the burned part to their attention and was told it was because we had extra cheese. Mind you, in the past 40 years, the extra cheese never caused it to be burned. Also, the house salad dressing isn 't the same as it was years ago at the original Tommy 's Pizza. Also, on the pizza, the cheese quality has changed from very stretchy and flavorful to bland and like rubber. I 've always liked supporting local eateries, but at this point, frozen pizza would be better. Also, our last visit was with us calling for 30 minutes to place an order, but all we got was a busy signal. We decided to ride up and place our order, and when we asked the girl at the bar what was wrong with their phone, she replied we had alot of call ins earlier, so we took it off the hook so the kitchen could catch up . Well, I placed my order and had to wait almost 40 minutes for it. When I got it home and opened it up, it was a big blob of burnt. And no.....they were not busy at that time. Not busy at all

Always a 5 star visit, the Margherita pizza is my favorite!

It's one of my favorites. has a polite and helpful staff. I always order the pizza, but they have many other options. I have tried the lasagna, and it's good as well. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, this place is wheelchair accessible

Hostess was awesome. Got a take out pizza with the “sweet sauce”. Don’t do that! I’ve had pizza there before and it was good but this time was horrible. Just get the normal sauce. Crust was burnt, we called it in and had to wait for them to remake it and still burnt. But they may have just had a bad day. Do not say yes to sweet sauce, tasted like sugar on pizza and couldn’t taste anything else.

This is by far my favorite place to eat since i was a litle girl and now it is my daughters favorite. We met with her and some friends to eat for her 18th B-day and this place NEVER disappoints!! The service was on point without fail and if Heaven has food, this is what it would taste like!!!
