Addie's Specialty Tea Room

We are locals and regulars of Addie's and love the storybook ambience and retro coffee machine. The place is always clean and the food is always fresh. Gift shop with sweet storybook items for sale is a nice touch. The food is very tasty but be prepared to wait for it as the kitchen always seems to be running behind and the cooks often seem a bit overwhelmed. The kids nibble platter is a fantastic touch and keeps wriggling toddlers happy whilst you enjoy the excellent coffee, toasted sandwiches and homemade cakes. The place is ideal for kids but leave the pram at home as it's very narrow. Addie's is not open for business as much as we'd like but it has so much potential and as the business grows then hopefully the food can be prepared faster, the menu will expand and they will be open 7 days.
