Joe Italiano's Maplewood Inn

Initially, I was disappointed by the limited and typical Italian menu, which seemed rather standard. However, after placing our order, I was pleasantly surprised. I had the salad, French onion soup, and angel hair pasta with meatballs. While none of the dishes were groundbreaking, the quality was outstanding. The salad was generously dressed with oil, the French onion soup had just the right amount of cheese, and the homemade meatballs were delicious. As for the chocolate cake—I'm usually not a fan of cake, but this one was exceptional. It was a delightful treat. Overall, the meal offered great value for the calories consumed. If we lived closer, we would definitely return. The service was excellent, the food was wonderful, and the entire experience was fantastic.

I visited this restaurant with my wife and children during our trip to New Jersey after many years, and I was thrilled to find that the food is still amazing and the service is excellent. We sat outside in the tent, which turned out to be a fantastic experience.
